My mother is over 40 years old and I am the third child. My father left my mother when I was 4 months pregnant.

If I want to tell the story, my mother's life journey was very complicated, and handing it over to the foundation was the best choice, because my mother wanted me to have a better life.

Mother comes from an island far from Bali, and came to Bali for the first time because she wanted to live in a safe house, initially mother refused, but seeing the story of mother who had no way out, finally mother was accepted in a safe house. So many want to live in a safe house, and more than 50% have to be rejected because the capacity of the safe house is limited and there are many considerations from the safe house to accept the presence of pregnant women.

There are almost no safe houses on other islands, and even if there are, the facilities are lacking, and some pregnant women are even forced to run away secretly and end up asking for help from their mothers. Not infrequently, some come from Sulawesi by ship for 3-5 days to be able to stay in a safe house.

Pregnant women are often asked to contact the nearest safe house, for example if the pregnant woman comes from Aceh or Medan, or from Sumatra, she is asked to look for a safe house on the island of Java, so that it is not geographically far away.

But many refused and begged to be accepted at MettaMamaMaggha, pregnant women are willing to take a long journey to get to Bali. More than 95% of pregnant women come from outside Bali, and are new to Bali when they will stay at the safe house.

If it is said that a mother giving her child to a foundation is a cruel act, we do not wear their clothes, do not live their lives, so it is easy to give comments that corner pregnant women without partners. However, if there is already a life in a mother's womb, the baby is not guilty and does not deserve to be punished for the mistakes of its parents, there are lives that must be saved. Therefore, if we cannot help, at least do not give hurtful words to pregnant women. There is not a single woman in this world who dreams of getting pregnant and then giving her baby to an institution. Everyone wants to get married, have a good husband, build a household, have children and raise a family.

Welcome home baby Nala dear

Get ready, child, there are many kind-hearted mothers online who will love Nala with all their heart and always pray for baby Nala❤️❤️❤️…
