Hello, momma…

My name is Kinza Iskander. Kinza means Hidden Treasure, and Iskander means Defender. In Indonesian, it means a precious child who is loved by many, a defender of truth and is liked for his kindness. Both are taken from Arabic.

Names are prayers and hopes for the children at MettaMamaMaggha. They are intended to shape their character, a hope given from birth, and a hope that can be realized. Therefore, names are given great thought when a baby is born into a safe home.

Baby Kinza's story is a little different from her siblings at MettaMamaMaggha. Kinza's mother (Jasmine) was abandoned by her biological father since she was pregnant. Initially, she wanted to take responsibility, but was never present in Jasmine's life. Her mother was already an adult, and she had previously failed in her marriage and separated from her husband, which traumatized her from meeting men. After several years, she began to open her heart, wanting to have a family.

After a long time of being in love, promising to get married later and finally getting pregnant, at first everything was fine but as time went on, Papa's attitude began to change and finally disappeared without a word, free from his responsibilities as a father. Mama was left alone in the city where she had migrated, when Mama came to the foundation accompanied by two good friends, Mama cried many times because she had to take this path. Loving but choosing not to be together, because there were many things to consider. Mama didn't want Kinza to have a bad life, lack of nutrition, no safe home to grow up, rejection from her family because Kinza was born out of wedlock. Mama said that in the area where Mama was born, the culture there still considered it a great shame for a woman to get pregnant without a husband. Kinza would grow up being called an illegitimate child, this was Mama's consideration...she couldn't bear for Kinza to be the subject of bullying in the family and local community. And there was some information that couldn't be shared in public, maybe this was Kinza's karma to have to live in the foundation. Because here, Kinza is not an illegitimate child, Kinza is a cute, healthy, handsome baby boy, and will be loved by his mother and midwife, thank you, Sister Maggha, for accepting Kinza's presence in the foundation. Whatever the background of every child who is handed over to the foundation, be it religious problems, cultural problems, ethnic problems, economic problems, problems of being rejected by the family, any problem, a baby is born into this world in an innocent state. A baby is like a white paper born into this world, we as parents will write a pen on this white paper, whether it is a good poem, or a calm view or a directionless scribble, because a baby is born without asking and when it is born it is the right of every baby to get a good life.

Welcome kinza dear….

Kinza will definitely receive lots of prayers, attention from her online mom, and be loved by many kind people. Don't worry, dear... Kinza will have lots of older siblings to accompany her and play with her. Hugs and kisses for Kinza...❤️❤️❤️
