Hello, momma….
My mother named me Dhruvi, which means "firm child," and Dharmendra, which means "king of truth." Both are Sanskrit words. She hoped that when I grew up, I would be someone who always defended the truth and was firm in my actions.
If my older and younger siblings at the foundation were born in a safe house, if I was born first and then handed over to my mother
My mother was only 22 and already working. She moved to Bali and met my father while working. They initially fell in love and eventually decided to become his girlfriend. Unfortunately, she went too far, and without realizing it, I was born in her womb.
And everything changed after Mom got pregnant. Dad refused to take responsibility and eventually left Mom pregnant. Mom was alone in a new city, without family, friends, or companions.
And then I was born in the hospital, my mother was alone, and she felt unable to take care of me… because she was not mentally ready, not financially ready, and she had to work to support herself.
Of course, if a woman becomes pregnant without a partner, she bears all the mental and physical burdens alone. The baby's father simply walks away without guilt, but the woman is the one blamed for carrying the baby.
If we were in the position of a mother, what would we do if we didn't have any support to care for a baby?
My mother said I would receive a lot of love from the online mothers, from my older sister, from the midwives, nurses, and caregivers who work at the foundation. These are the amazing mothers who unconditionally love me.
There are still many good people in this world who love and care about me and the brothers and sisters at the foundation.
Greetings and love from Dhruvi
