AMOKA PANNA CARRITA

Hello good mom….

My name is "Amoka Panna Caritta"

Amoka means strong child, Panna means wise, and Caritta is good-natured. Bunda took the names from Tamil and Sanskrit. The name is like a prayer for a child from a mother, with the hope that it will shape the child's character in the future. Bunda believes that all good things will end well. Amoka is a strong child, because of my unusual story when I came into this world.

I was born in a room, my mother gave birth to me alone, without anyone's help, after I was born on the bed my mother cut my umbilical cord using a kitchen knife, when I was born my father was at work. 

Mother asked many times, how could she give birth alone, why not go to a midwife or hospital? 

Luckily, I was born healthy without any deficiencies, as proven by the medical check-up after I was taken to the midwife for examination and my mother also received proper medical care.

I am the second child, and my parents are officially married. However, there's something I can't share with the public: the story of why my parents handed me over to the foundation. Whatever the story, I currently live at the Metta Mama & Maggha Foundation. Please pray for me, Mom. I hope that one day I will be strong enough to face life's challenges, wise enough to solve problems, and possess good character.

And of course I will get affection from online mothers.
