Hello dear mom...

Mother gave me the name Aahana, in full "Aahana Chara Tanishka" and this is my story up to Metta Mama & Maggha.

Mom started contacting me while I was still pregnant, in May, asking about safe houses. She asked if she could give up the baby, but Mom asked her to think it over carefully. Mom didn't immediately accept. After she was sure of her choice, she came to the foundation and met with Mom. We talked for hours about me, about life, about being a single parent, about her journey, about her dreams, and about being an independent woman.

My mother was a beautiful, kind, and mentally mature woman, with a boyfriend she loved dearly, and long story short, she was having an extramarital affair. When she told him she was pregnant with me, he demanded an abortion, saying he wasn't ready for marriage and children, and religious differences were also a reason for refusing to take responsibility.

My mother wasn't immediately accepted into the safe house; she was asked to think it over several times, and for four months, she was asked to think about it. After examining all sides, and seeing that both families couldn't accept a baby, the foundation accepted me. It wasn't easy to be accepted into the safe house; more people were rejected than accepted due to the foundation's limited capacity.

Mama tried to find another foundation, but in her heart, Mama preferred to give it to Maggha, because Mama believed and was sure that I would be fine if I lived in the foundation with her.

Maybe many people criticized my mother, having sex outside of marriage, behind all that my mother really took care of me in the womb, paid attention to me and never had the intention to abort me, even though my mother had to sacrifice herself to carry the baby alone, only close friends accompanied my mother.

Aahana darling…

Every baby who is born brings its own karma, and so does Aahana. What is certain is that Aahana will be fine at the foundation with her older siblings.

Mama aahana will always love you in her heart and will always send love from wherever she is. Welcome home Baby girl.
